Below is general guidance based on Quebec screening recommendations (June 2026).

A Pap test is recommended every 3 years.

30 – 65 Years

Both Pap test and HPV test (co-testing) are recommended every 5 years.

Why Screening Matters

Pap and HPV testing can help detect changes in cervical cells early, often before symptoms appear. Early detection allows for timely follow-up and better outcomes.

Early Detection

Helps identify cell changes before they can develop into cancer.

Prevention

Regular screening reduces your risk and supports long-term health.
